Not fancy but very good. Crab cakes were delicious. Corn pudding as a side! Never see that unless I make it. Desserts looked so good. Regret not getting one. It's a drive but a beautiful spot. The restaurant is in an old schoolhouse. They opened a new tiki bar in the back.

Came down to fishing creek for a Father’s Day trip and Old Salty’s is right across the bay from where we were staying. I would come all the way from New York again just for the food. It was great. The staff and the owners are even better!! They also have a beautiful tiki bar outside where we watched the sunset. Everything was amazing I highly recommend!

All I can say is bring your appetite! The seafood is delicious and the portions are huge! This restaurant is what the Maryland shore is about. Good food and great people! Buses actually bring people here because it is that good. Everything we had was perfectly made and super fresh. The service is impeccable, the staff never stops moving and they take care of their customers. We saw lots of to go boxes, like I said the portions are huge! You get your moneys worth and more. Definitely worth the trip. The scenery is amazing and the location awesome.

This is as old school as it gets for Maryland Seafood. The crab cakes are legit, zero filler all jumbo lump and worth the trip. Softshell sandwiches served on white bread just like God intended. Sides include pickled beets, cucumber salad, corn pudding, and more. Fish bites were either white perch or snakehead, we got the snakehead twice and it is delicious. Highly recommended.

Gotta love this place! Owners are hands-on. Staff is hometown. These are the people I’d invite to come to my home for a meal and share a bottle of wine or a bourbon or 2. Love them. Sometimes they get overwhelmed. Leave your western side of the bridge, I’m from somewhere else and I was in the restaurant business attitudes behind along with your stupid Google and hurtful Yelp reviews. It’s the Eastern Shore. We are all lucky to be here and we appreciate that. You won’t find a staff of more accommodating, kind, hard working individuals like you do here. I’ve been all over the country traveling on business and lived in 8 states from DE to MT. This is my place. My hometown local place. (I’m not from here) they treat me like I belong here. Enjoy the views, unwind, have a cocktail if that’s your thing and let it happen. Speak to the servers and bartender. You may be surprised that you just might learn something about them and yourself.

It’s a bit pricey but what a great place to be. Staffs are so friendly and extra nice, more like a friendly neighbor. Food was so delicious! Everything that we ordered were so tasty and delicious. Crab dip was so scrumptious, boiled Seafood Plater was so juicy and tasteful, seafood nacho was so full of seafood, crab cake was one of the best that I’ve had... Kids had so much fun playing games and we all enjoyed the scenery. What a beautiful place!

Going to Old Salty's requires commitment because it is definitely not on the way to wherever you might be going, unless your destination happens to be Hooper's Island. If you haven't visited that part of Maryland before, it is a worthwhile trip just to see what the islands and marshes look like. The food was very good. I had a crab cake, which some may say is a little expensive, but it was better than most that I have had and overall it was well worth the price. There was live music when we went (80s cover band called Fast Times), which we enjoyed. I don't know what to say about the view and the sunset other than it was amazing.
